I was surprised by an unexpected handmade box along with a shirt I bought from another YouTube channel. In making a video about the Veritas Box Maker’s Plow Plane, I decided to make them a box in return, while I used video footage of making it as background in the other video. This is that box.

After taking a platter turning class with the MN Woodturners Association, I decided to give it a go by myself. I cut up some walnut stock I had and turned another platter, to make sure I had the process down still.
I’m a big fan of music or background in the shop. Early on in my woodworking I built a small touch screen computer+speaker all in one. When my shop grew, so too did my music needs.
When I posted the video of how I learned to turn wooden platters, I was asked how long it took. I wasn’t sure, so I recorded and edited a video of the full process, start to finish.
