Chris reflects on his first attempt at turning a footed bowl, which was unsuccessful but resulted in a satisfying piece made from Russian Olive wood. The bowl, featuring interesting inclusions, is more of a conversation piece than a functional item at this point. He looks forward to future, hopefully more successful, attempts.
